About this Event
Tamales are more than just a meal. For many, it is a special opportunity to bring the family together and share traditions and laughs. The purpose of the Tamales Del Alma exhibition is to showcase the significant cultural impact of tamales and families. Sometimes, you need to grab a spoon and start spreading masa on a corn husk with your family to soothe the soul.
Exhibit open 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the West Gallery inside the Conner Museum.
Exhibit curated by Alexander Meza, Graduate Horticulture Student in the Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.
Tamales Del Alma will be available through the end of October 2022 at the Conner Museum.
