Schoenberg was almost entirely self-taught in music. His "teachers" were Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Wagner, and Brahms. Through analyzing their music and emulating what he liked into his own composing he developed his unique style. Dr. Reinhuber will perform and explain examples from each composer, and, of course, music by Schoenberg himself.
