All jazz music lovers are invited to attend our concert which will be in a very casual, outdoor setting.  There is a lot of room on the lawn outside our building where concert-goers can bring their lawn chairs and enjoy the performances by our three jazz big bands. 

The bands usually perform at the annual Texas Jazz Festival in Corpus Christi. Due to the COVID situation, and the very large number of people who attend the 3-day festival, the TJF Society determined it was not conducive for all involved to hold the festival.  

This event is not meant to replace the festival; rather, it is our way of paying tribute to the Texas Jazz Festival by providing a small performance on our campus.
